Troitskaya 2-28

God gave us another opportunity to visit children in Troitskaya orphanage. Children were introduced to the childhood of Jesus. They studied His example  about how to be obedient and hardworking.
We were singing, playing different games, receiving prizes, and we were also just sitting and talking with the children.
It was very nice to see caregivers also take part in the program as we appreciate their partnership and hope they also learn about God.
Our prayer for these children is that the Lord will grow the seed that was sown in their hearts and that every child would become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Please pray for them.

Troitskaya 1-30

On January 30th, the team finally got to the orphanage for Christmas celebrations! Many of the kids were not at the orphanage during December and January because of the holidays, so the team waited til most returned.
Together with children, they remembered  Christmas story - it was an excellent Christmas musical! The narrator was telling the Nativity story, accompanied by Christmas songs, and all the characters of the story showed the pantomime. The characters in the story were played by the team and each class also participated. Thus every child, the team, and the teachers in a special way immersed into the story and really pondered what Christmas is all about. In the end they gave each child a gift the that had asked for the last time the team visited.  The kids were happy! It was a joyous celebration!

Many thanks to all who were involved in this trip! Blessings to you!

Troitskaya 12-5

On the 5th of December, we took a trip to the Troitskaya orphanage. It was a good trip and a great time to care for the children. Our team was divided into three age groups from little kids up to teens. We see this is the best approach in ministering to the different age groups as they have different needs. We talked, played games, did crafts, sang songs, and listened to the story about Moses. Children become more open each time we are coming and can't wait for us to come back.   This time we received children's wish lists for Christmas. And now we collect the gifts for the next trip. We want to thank everyone who took part in this trip. May God Bless you!

Troitskaya 11-14 Prayer Day Marathon

On the 14th of November, we visited orphanage in Troitskaya as part of the Prayer Day Marathon. We played games, sang songs, made crafts, and also shared the story about Abraham. We shared that he was obedient to God and trusted Him. We shared that God takes care of us and fulfills His promises. During the craft time, we made a prayer dove and on it the children wrote their prayer requests to God. It was a great time together! We become closer to each other.

Troitskaya 10-24

On the 24th of October, the team visited the Troitskaya orphanage. Many kids were on fall break and visiting some relatives, so there were not a lot of children. Nevertheless, they had a great time sharing the story about Noah, playing games, making crafts, and just talking.

The team shares how they see that God loves these children and takes care of each of them and also watches over those that participate in the trips to the orphanage. The team wants to thank you for your continued support of this ministry. The team can't wait to visit the children again.

Please pray for these children. We believe that God works in their hearts and even if the life of one child would change it would be a great blessing. May God Bless you!

Troitskaya 9-19

This Saturday we started up our monthly trips to Troitskaya orphanage after the summer. We really missed the kids and we were all happy to see each other! This time we shared with children about prayer, played games, talked about a variety of different things, and had fun together. Children are waiting for the next meeting and so are we.

Please pray for these children. We believe that God works in their hearts.  Even if the life of one child will change it will be a great miracle! May God bless you richly!

We thank God that He gives us this amazing opportunity to love and take care of these children. We thank everyone who supports our work financially, for volunteers that give their time to plan programs, shop for things that are needed for the kids, travel to the orphanages, and for the drivers that get the teams there and back home.

Troitskaya 5-16

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to visit the orphanage in Troitskaya and our beautiful children! They were excited to see us and were waiting for us! It was our 5th trip to this orphanage this school year. We shared with them about God, what separates us from Him, and reminded the children what He has done for us. We told children that God wants to spend eternity with us.

After the lesson we played games, danced, talked, had fun, and tried to make this day special for them. It was a great blessing for us.  We thank God for opportunity to serve at this orphanage, for every single trip, through which God has blessed us so much.  And we want to thank everyone who made those trips possible. This orphanage became part of our church family! We can’t wait till September to visit the children again.  We ask you to pray for them and we believe that God really works in their hearts! Even if the life of one child will change it will be a miracle!

Nasledie partners with Holy Trinity Church to visit the children in Troitskaya. We are thankful for this partnership and their church body.

Troitskaya 4-25

The team took the trip to Troitskaya orphanage on the April 25th.  Children were happy to see the volunteers and are continuing in building relationships with them. We spent a great time outside  playing games, sharing a Bible story, and just talking.  The children are very smart  and ask very interesting questions. The team  was tired after the trip, but encouraged from the time spent with so many little friends!

We are grateful to our Almighty God that He gives us opportunity to serve these children. We want to thank everybody who supports the work of Nasledie in order to make these monthly trips possible.

Troitskaya 3-15

Praise God that He again gave us the opportunity to spend time with these wonderful, sincere, sweet, active, interesting, and friendly children in Troitskaya. His children! This time we talked with them about the Books of the Bible. We sang songs, danced, made a lot of noise, and sneezed as elephants. :) Our team and the children had great time together. At the end of the day, we were tired, but happy. It was a blessed time with the children. They remember us and wait for us to come back.
We thank everybody who took part in it and made it happen, it was amazing! We are grateful to leaders for their hard work and the lesson they have prepared. And we want to thank everybody who supports us financially, so that teams can visit the children. Please pray for the children in Troitskaya and this team.

Troistkaya 2-7

The team visited the children in Troitskaya this last Saturday. It was the last of the Christmas visits. The children were blessed with a fun program that was about the joy of Christmas. The children enjoyed the time with the volunteers in small groups making crafts and playing games. Each child was blessed with a handmade blanket, slippers, fruit, and Samaritan's purse box. Special lamps to be used during power outages, notebooks, and personal hygiene items were also given. Praise God for all those that sent these items to bless the children.

As we mentioned recently, this is a new team. Please be in prayer for this team as the are at the beginning of building relationships with the children.

Troitskaya 12-6

We are very excited about the new team that has been assembled from a church here in Odessa. We have visited the orphanage in Troitskaya often and have been searching for a team leader and team. God has blessed another orphanage with a great team that desires to share His love and His word with them.

The team talked with the children about how they are not alone. They talked with the children about friendships and how their best friend is Jesus. He loves them and desires to be in relationship with them.

The kids enjoyed the time with the team making an interesting poster, playing games, and getting to know one another.

Praise God for another great team that desires to visit His children.

Shoe Adventure

We were blessed with hundreds of pairs of shoes to distribute to the children in the orphanages in Balta 1 and 2, Borshi, Karolina Bugaz, Troitskaya, Pishana, Andreevo - Ivanovko, Nikolaevka, Mikolaevka, Limanskaya, Ananiev, and Zhovten.

Slavik and Vova took a trip to Kiev in the van (praise God for this great blessing) to pick up the shoes. It was a whole day adventure leaving at 3 am and returning at 10 pm.

We will be distributing the shoes to the orphanages over the next several weeks.
