Youngstars Training

For many years, we have partnered with the Young Stars Network throughout Europe. They have supported us and encouraged in ministry and we have done the same for them as we all work together to care for and train youth. Four men from Switzerland came to us to spend time with our volunteers doing a very interesting training. The learned many different things about working with children in the outdoors. One night they spent the night in the forest inside shelters they made for themselves. The team member were also challenged in their faith. Praise God for this partnership in ministry and may we all continue together serving Him.  

 

Training

 We continue with our monthly trainings. We had  great time at the training and the volunteers learned a lot. We thank mission Emmanuel for sharing their knowledge about teaching life skills to children with us. A special thank you to Mina and Galina for leading us!

Training for volunteers

Our goal in 2015 is to offer more training opportunities for our volunteers. Each year hundreds of volunteers visit the orphanages, assist with projects, and work with the children at Camp LELA. However, most have no prior experience in working with troubled children. We want to help them be more effective in caring and sharing God's love with the children. This past weekend we held a training, "Key Aspects of Care for Orphans."

Training

We have a large team of volunteers that work with alongside us in ministry and we are thankful for them. Without hundreds of volunteers we are not able to do this work in so many orphanages. We often meet with our team to have a fun evening and also we offer training on different topics.

This month Ken Golding, from International Messengers, joined us to do a training on the Biblical principals behind raising support for ministry.
