Club OK

We had some great meetings with the orphanage graduates in the month of February. Some interesting topics, too! One topic was called, "Calculating Love." It brought up some great discussion around Valentine's Day as we discussed love and finding the right kind of person. Another topic was about life after death. We are grateful these graduates open their hearts to us and form relationships that we hope are long lasting. Of course, the Friday night meetings always include games and treats!

 

 

Club OK

On Friday, January 29th we had another meeting with the graduates from the orphanage. We discussed an interesting topic about how to find your "soul mate". It was just the first part and next time we will continue discussing this topic. This is an interesting topic for these teens and also an important topic as they date and think about a future. And after the meeting we had fun time playing table football and tennis.

Club Ok

During the holiday times, many orphanage graduates have no place to go. They don't have families and their friends are orphans, too. Many of them are able to stay in their dorms, but this year we found 10 students that were from the Kilia orphanage that were not able to stay. We invited them to come stay with us. Praise God for the building we have and the space that we have available for them. We had a great time with them as they joined us for Club Ok on Friday nights, celebrated Christmas with us, and enjoyed a movie at the theatre. Pray for these kids as they return to their dorms and to studying.

Club Ok November

In November, we continued having Club Ok meetings for the orphanage graduates. We met with new students Andrey a graduate from the Andreevo-Ivanovka and Kolya and Luda from the Kilia orphanage. Kolya and Luda are siblings and have been staying with us since the summer. Also, two refugee girls from the joined us for the meetings. During the meetings, we played a game which helps to develop abstract thinking.  Leaders spent time developing relationships with the graduates and share with them about their lives. It takes a long time to build trust, but we pray that over time they will accept our help and guidance. We are plan to have crafts and cooking lessons during winter meetings. Pray that more graduates would come and that mentoring relationships will be built.

Club OK

Club OK continues to meet on Friday evenings. Several graduates from the orphanages come and we build relationships with them hoping to have a positive impact on their lives. Please pray that more graduates will be faithful in attending.

Club Ok

Club OK continues to meet every Friday night at our center. Many graduates have visited, but only a few are consistent in coming.

 

Recently, Club Ok had its first picnic and it was a lot of fun to spend time together.

 

Please pray with us as we build this program for graduates of the orphanage. It is difficult for them and we want to mentor them and help them. Pray they will be open and begin to trust us.
