Izmael 12-19

Yesterday our team visited the Izmael orphanage to celebrate Christmas because many of the children will go to America as a part of a hosting program. Although, we had arranged with the orphanage to come on this day it turned out that they had their own celebration planned because it was a holiday, St. Nicholas Day. They asked us to take part in their program and we joined in with them. It was a good opportunity for us to share the truth about Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, and the real meaning of Christmas. The children had prepared a skit called “ The Birthday Boy” and we enjoyed watching them perform. We had great time of singing and doing other fun activities. It's amazing to see how children our comfortable with us and how praying at the end of our time together has become a welcomed tradition.
Praise God that He grants us these opportunities to serve!
