Kilia 4-13

On the day after Easter, sisters Maya and Tanya, volunteers of Nasledie, visited Kilia orphanage. Children are always glad to have them visit since they became good friends. The children always ask about the sisters from church in Sratsk. ;) Praise God for the relationships that are built with the children. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we could spend time outside. The Easter holday gave us a great opportunity to talk about serious topics of redemption, resurrection, and eternal life given by God.

Volunteers tried to explain that Easter is about the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ and not about Easter bread and colored eggs. It was great to share this day with children and it felt just like family. A special treat was listening to the orchestra that had come from the church in the nearby village of Shevchenko. It was encouraging to see believers united in serving orphans!
