Zhovten volunteers once again opened their
homes to host 3 children during the holiday time. From January 2nd
to January 12th, which included Ukrainian Christmas, the children
lived with families. These families gave the children an opportunity to further
understand family life in a Christian family and families were able to build
stronger relationships with the children they visit several times a month. The
children participated in a day camp at the church, attended Christmas events in
the city, and a Christmas play at church. The children had a great time and
look forward to the next opportunity to come home with the volunteers. We
believe this a great way to build long lasting relationships with the children
in order to make an lasting impact on their lives. In the near future, the team
is planning to host 20 children. Please pray that the plans for this will fall
into place.
