The Zhovten team visited the children again
on January 18th. Along with them came the church choir to perform for the kids. We
were a little concerned about the program, but the director of the choir did a
great job. They had prepared many songs for children and also gave the children
an opportunity to share their Christmas songs and poems. Children, orphanage
staff, and volunteers enjoyed the program.
The time ended with the team promising to
quickly return on the 24th of January with another very special program.
They also were able to distribute slippers to each child. This team did a great
job of displaying the slippers and helping the children select a pair that they
liked and that fit!
