Sidewalk Sunday School

One of our ongoing projects that ministers to children living in troubled families is Sidewalk Sunday School. This project grows bigger and bigger each week. Why? Because we have an established a relationship with the children, the parents, and the community in this one courtyard. One day we hope to have similar projects in many different courtyards.

The team celebrated Children's Day with the kids. A large portion of time was spent playing the age old game capture the flag. The kids had a great time protecting their flag and seeking to take the other teams hidden flag. At the end of the adventure we talked about how God is our only protector. We also had a skit that gave another Biblical lesson to the children.

We had time for a few skits and of course treats! The kids helped make a tasty treat with bananas, apples, strawberries, and yogurt.

We were thankful to celebrate Children's Day with these children and blessed that God gives us the opportunity to be a witness to all these people in this courtyard.
