Kilia 1-25

The team visited the children in Kilia on January 25th. This time the format was more informal. The boys were in one group and the girls in another. This gave the volunteers the opportunity to sit with the children, drink tea, and get to know the children better. They were able to talk more about their struggles and how we could pray for them. They could share personal experiences and their hopes for the future.

In the boy's group, Dima and Vanya encouraged the boys to think more about faith and it's importance in their lives. They shared about trusting God in all situations.

In the girl's group, Tania and Maya, told them about Nick Vujicic. The story of his life is powerful and shows in any situation it is possible to embrace joy and to trust the Lord.

Pray for the children and the team as they continue to get to know each other on a deeper level.
