Karolina Bugaz 10-7 (fall haircuts)

This week we are out on the road visiting several different orphanages to give haircuts, work on a video, start setting the plans for Christmas, and to distribute food. We started off in Karolina Bugaz yesterday and had a great day with the kids. We had several professional beauticians with us that cut hair the whole day and now the kids look great!

Things are very difficult in the orphanages now because of the increased number of children without a financial increase from the government. Probably increased finances from the government will come, but there is no guarantee and no time frame. We were able to pass along carrots, cabbages, and beets that will help supply their food supply.

This year for Christmas we want to know what the kids want. Of course, nearly every child wants a tablet, a phone, or a computer. We won't be getting those things. ;) However, we can get things they do want and our goal is to do that. We spent time yesterday talking with the kids and allowing each child to give their list of wants. We will be collecting these gifts at local malls like we did last year. Those that desire to help will be given a picture of the child and the items they asked for. We will wrap the gift and deliver it to them. Please pray as this project takes a lot of coordination and organization.
Our friend Sasha joined us on the trip yesterday to take the pictures of the kids and to take video. He is a professional videographer and we are asking that he make some videos for the National Day of Prayer for Orphans that is in November. We want there to be an awareness about orphans in our local churches and community. Sasha spent time interviewing many children asking them about their dreams. One girl has her heart set on a family. Please continue to pray for these dear children. Pray that families both from our country and abroad will seek to foster children and adopt them.
