Andreevo-Ivanovko 12-14

As our small team of seven climbed out of the van, we were attacked with shouts of our names and hugs. As always the kids are happy to see us and we are glad to be reunited with them, too. We held our usual program with a large group time of singing, small groups, sports activities, and crafts.

Nasledie Team with some of the children.

While walking through the orphanage, I noticed a board that held many things that had been handmade by the kids. A few of our crafts that we had done with them were presented there. It made me realize that the time we spend with them is special and remembered.

Board filled with handmade crafts. Some of them we made with the kids.

Just as we were preparing to leave, Vika ran up to us and told us her story. She said that she had been praying that we would return and this time was very special to her. She shared that for a long time she didn't believe in God, but the last time we visited on of our team members had given her a Bible. She had been reading it and has now come to faith in Christ. She quickly ran away and we were left with our own thoughts. We climbed back in the van knowing the work we do is making a difference in the lives of these children. God is moving amongst them and pouring out His love onto them. We are thankful He allows us to serve Him.

Please pray for Vika and our team members as they lead her on this path with Christ.
