The team made it to Andreevo-Ivanovko this past weekend. We had a great time with the kids. We had large group games, small group discussion times, Bible story time, crafts, and outdoor games. It was a great day as we continue to build relationships with the kids.
The part of the day that was the most encouraging for our team was this.
During the prayer time, some kids were sincerely praying. They were not shy in front of their peers and did not seem to care about what the teachers might say to them. In these moments, we realize that all the times we talk with them about life and about God and all the love we give to them is not in vain. The children have told us many times that people come to visit them, but with our team it is different. The time is good and they are comfortable with us.
Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Pray with us that when times are difficult and we don't see the fruit of our work, that we will not be come weary and will not give up.
