Krasnoselka 4-1

Today the team went to Krasnosyolka to see the girls. It’s been a while since the team has visited, but the girls had not forgotten them! This time they were sharing about the importance of supporting each other and told them the story about Cain and Abel. After the story there was a fun craft and time to talk. At the end they all enjoyed a tasty pastry prepared by Lena along with some juice. Please pray for these dear girls.

Krasnoselka

Last Friday, our small team visited the orphanage in Krasnoselka. They gave us a warm welcome, we had a lesson about the sin and disobedience, and we played games. The craft was for the girls to try to make a picture of snake using circles, but for most it turned into abstract art! :) However, it was fun and everyone liked it.

Krasnosyolka 2-19

Today we went to visit the girls in Krasnoselka. We had a lesson about the creation of the world, and talked specifically about each day of creation. We made a craft with flowers, the sky, the sun, and grass using play dough(our girls really like play dough) to help them further understand creation). It was a very blessed day, thank you all for your prayers!

Krasnoselka 2-13

This past Saturday we took a trip to the  Krasnosyolka orphanage.  We brought with us a doll theatre which showed a skit  about  kindness and forgiveness. The children from Yuzhniy Bethel church were acting in the skit and we were blessed to serve with them. We played with balloons, showed magic tricks, and at the end each girl received a gift. They were really happy to see us and the caregivers as much as the girls were fully engaged in the skit. We thank God for this amazing time we could spend in Krasnosyolka.

Krasnosyolka 1-7

Yesterday we visited the orphanage in Krasnosyolka, we shareed with them the Christmas story through pictures as this was easier for them to understand. We decorated gingerbread men and had some sweets. We were invited to a rehearsal of the choir and the girls sang for us wonderful Christmas carols. All of us enjoyed the time together. We thank God for the opportunity to visit the girls this week.

Krasnosyolka Prayer Day Marathon 11-14

The Prayer Day Marathon team stopped by the orphanage in Krasnosyolka. The girls that live there are always super excited to see our team. They love visitors and love having fun with us. We are blessed when we see they joy they have despite their situation. We had a fun time playing games, singing songs, and dancing. We also spent time praying for them.

Karolina Bugaz 11-13 Prayer Day Marathon

The Prayer Day Marathon stops off in Karolina Bugaz. It was the biggest team that went out this week and the kids were excited to see us. The program remained the same with singing, crafts,  games, and a skit. It was a special time praying for the children, too. Praise God for these kids and the open door to minister to them.

Krasnosyolka

The team visited the girls at the orphanage in Krasnoyolka this month. We had a clown that played some fun games with the girls and this was most likely their favorite part. The team members also spent time coloring with the girls and just sitting with them. They often to have someone to sit next to them and to hold their hand or to hug them. We pray that they sense God's deep love for them even if they can't always comprehend everything that is shared with them.

Krasnosyolka

On Friday, we were able to take small, but mighty team to visit the girls at the orphanage just outside Odessa. These girls are such a joy and it was a blessing to us to spend time with them. We spent time singing, dancing, doing puzzles, coloring, blowing bubbles, playing with balls, AND eating lots of cotton candy! The girls also performed many special songs for us. Praise God for the opportunity to show love and care to all His beautiful children.

We did it! Day #6 Krasnosyolka, Limonskaya, Mikalaievka, Flash mob, and Prayer Service!

Saturday was the final day for the Prayer Day Marathon. We visited the girls in Krasnosyolka. They had a great time singing, dancing, doing crafts, and spending time with us. (Photos are not permitted.) We also sent small teams to Limonskaya and Mikalaievka.

In the afternoon, we performed a flash mob 4 different times in the city center in order to help create awareness for orphans. The clowns gathered brave adults and very willing children to learn a fun hand jive. When they had learned it, they turned to perform and 30 volunteers rose up from the crowds and joined them.

All week long we gathered prayer requests hand written by the children. We gathered on the final day of the Marathon to pray for their prayer requests. Each group was also given a tree that had fingerprints of the kids on it and they prayed for that specific orphanage and our program there.

Krasnosyolka 6-27

We were able to visit the girls at the Krasnosyolka orphanage again. What a great time! We brought a long a large blow up trampoline and a cotton candy machine. We also had lots of other outdoor activities to do to keep all the girls busy for several hours.

It is such a joy to serve these girls that have severe special needs. We know that they are not visited by anyone and they long to be cared for. We are grateful for our partnership with this director and that we are allowed to visit.

Please pray for these girls that they will know and experience God's love through us.

6-19 Krasnosyolka

A small team of five ladies visited the girls orphanage in Krasnosyolka. The girls are always very excited to see us and love to play with us. Highlights for the day were painting nails, sidewalk chalk drawing, and playing with the large parachute.

Please pray for these girls. They have many disabilities and limitations, but God knows them and sees them.
Please pray for the staff at this orphanage. We see it must be very difficult and trying work to care for so many girls at one time that really need individual care.
Please pray we can return next week and bring the trampoline.

Krasnosyolka 3-21

Last Friday, Alyona took a team of 6 volunteers to visit the girls in the Krasnosyolka orphanage. It is always a blessing to spend time with these girls. They have fun playing games, doing puzzles, and making things out of play dough. They carry on as if they don't have a care in the world. We should learn from them and act more like this in God's presence. We should dance, laugh, play, and discard our worries as we rest in Him.

Krasnosyolka

It has been some time since we were able to visit the girls in Krasnyolka, but we were able to make a trip on March 7th. We saved Christmas gifts and were happy to be able to deliver those to them along with many boxes of much needed clothes. Thank you to those of you who donated clothes for these girls.

Alyona went with David and his young daughter. There were about 16 girls that they were able to spend time with. The colored, did puzzles, and sang songs. The girls are such a delight! Several of them enjoyed playing with David's daughter and were patient and kind to her.

We apologize that we cannot post pictures of our time with these girls, but we can post the van filled with stuff for them!
